Closing security gaps ahead of a customer audit
Auto-components manufacturer, ~250 staff, Gujarat
The challenge
A major OEM customer introduced a supplier security assessment. The business had no documented security posture, shared administrator passwords across departments, and a firewall last configured several years earlier.
What we did
A cyber security and risk review established the real exposure. We rebuilt access control on a least-privilege basis, replaced shared credentials, reconfigured perimeter security, hardened email against invoice fraud, and produced the documentation the customer assessment required.
The outcome
The supplier assessment was passed without remedial actions raised, and the business retained the contract.
